I’m Mark. For as long as I can remember I’ve loved the outdoors. I can remember as a kid waking up and getting outside to play “GI Joe” or build forts in the woods. I grew up and reside in northern Indiana. Growing up my brother and I were afforded many opportunities. We rode 4 wheelers and dirt bikes, we camped out most of the summer, we swam in the pool all day long. We enjoyed living.
This blog will be the beginning of my journey to reclaim what God has so graciously given to me, life. As a part of living I want to get back to many of the things I once did. I want to travel to places I’ve never been, to do things I may have never done.
I believe and love God. Without God I wouldn’t be here. Without God our world wouldn’t exist. Without God all of things I love doing wouldn’t be possible. I love my wife and family and love spending time with them. God has blessed me with a wife whom I’m crazy about and kids that can drive me crazy. I find enjoyment in most things. I love anything outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, 4 wheeling, overlanding, to name a few. I’ve been a fire fighter, a bull rider, football player, wrestler among others. I have chickens and bees, and a decent sized garden. Im a Ham radio operator, own a business, wrench on much of my own equipment, do a little bit of wood working, and metal working.
You will never know what you might find talked about in this blog. I love to try new things and gain new skills. Anything and everything is on the table.
And if I DYTRYN, at least I know I was living.
